E-CIG LIQUID COST
I was out and about on the town the other day and, as usual, my trusted e-cigarette was my constant companion. As I waited to catch the bus, I was approached by a young couple who wanted to know if my ego e cigarette was working out for me and how it works using the e-cig liquid. I explained that, to me, it was a miracle and that I had successfully used it as an alternative way of smoking for nearly nine months.
They seemed very pleased with my answer and probed for further information. We chatted about the cost of e-cigarettes, their pieces and parts etc. but the subject then turned to e-cig liquid. They wanted to know as much as possible. So I told them about all of the different flavors of e-cig liquid available and what some of my personal favorites are. I explained blackberry was my all-time favorite. In addition, how I also liked mixing my e-cig liquid together to create new, personalized flavors as well.
Ingredients
When asked what e cig liquid was made of I explained that e-cig liquid was made up of 4 major components. VG, PG, nicotine and flavoring. I further defined those four components.
VG or vegetable glycerin is a non-toxic, organic compound that is commonly used as a food preservative and is considered safe for consumption. Compared to PG, VG is a fairly thick solution. On its own, VG has a slight sweet taste and it does produce a really nice vapor.
PG or propylene glycol, also a non-toxic, safe-for-consumption, organic compound, is a tasteless odorless substance. It will not alter the flavor of the e-cig liquid in any way. It does have a strong humectant effect and therefore can cause dry mouth. However, it does produce a stronger throat hit but does not produce as much vapor as VG. Both VG and PG together create the base compound that holds the flavor and the nicotine.
Nicotine is in any e-cig liquid out there on the market. But there are nicotine free liquids available as well. Nicotine free liquids can come in all the usual flavors and will taste the same as those e-cig liquid that have nicotine. It just won’t give you a throat hit like e-cig liquids with nicotine in them. Lowering down to a nicotine free liquid is a goal many people are choosing to attempt.
Conclusion
To sum it up, it’s a safe, clean, odor-free, economical alternative way of smoking. It’s the best thing that I’ve found to get me to change my way of smoking. I couldn’t be happier. The young couple seemed pleased with my explanation of e-cigs and e-cig liquid. They thanked me and we all caught the bus and headed off to our planned destinations.
